Sprout Picks Up D360's YaYa & Zouk Ahead of Kidscreen Summit

 TORONTO, CANADA (February 3, 2016) – Distribution360, a marblemedia company that monetizes content across existing and emerging platforms, is gearing up for Kidscreen Summit with sales of over260 episodes to broadcasters and digital platforms across North America. This includes a sale of its latest preschool property YaYa & Zouk (78x5’) to SproutNBCUniversal Cable Entertainment’s 24-hour preschool network (US). 

Produced by ToonDraw Productions, in association with Société Radio-Canada and YOOPAYaYa & Zouk is set to premiere in the United States early this year on Sprout, following a deal negotiated by Kirsten Hurd, Director, International Sales and Acquisitions at Distribution360. The series, from the creators of Toopy and Binoo, follows the adventures of sister-brother duo YaYa and Zouk as they get themselves into hilarious situations exploring real and imaginary worlds through creative play. 

YaYa & Zouk is a whimsical series taking kids on a host of imaginary adventures,” said Kirsten Hurd. “We are thrilled the show will be enjoyed by US audiences on Sprout and hope this is the first of many international homes for the program”.

In addition, BBC Kids Canada will take audiences on a journey in the second season of The New Adventures of Figaro Pho (39x7’), produced by Chocolate Liberation Front. Tired of being a scaredy pants, Figaro Pho is determined to head out into the wild world to conquer the phobias that have prevented him from enjoying a normal life.

New SVOD service Curious World, created and operated by global learning company Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, has acquired Victory Arts’ beautiful and creative mixed-media series’ Alphabet Stories(26x1.5’) and YOUniverse(26x2.15’). Alphabet Stories tells imaginative tales using words beginning with a letter of the alphabet, while YOUniverselets preschoolers guide the viewer through their vision of the universe.

D360 is also sending two marblemedia properties to the platform batteryPOP (US). The platform will welcome the adrenaline-filled amusement park ride trivia series, Ride or Wrong (42x3’/6x21’), and the third installment of the popular Sinking Ship Entertainment and marblemedia preschool franchise, This is Scarlett and Isaiah (52x6’/13x30’).
