(September 8, 2015 – Toronto, Canada)

Distribution360 heads to MIPJunior next month with a new slate of Kids and Family properties including two new animated series from ToonDraw Productions and Atomic Cartoons, along with sales of 80 hours from its Kids and Family catalogue across Europe, Asia and Africa.

D360’s MIPJunior preschool slate includes the whimsical animated sibling adventure series YaYa & Zouk (78x5’) produced by ToonDraw Productions in association with Société Radio-Canada and YOOPA and Nico Can Dance(65x2’) an animated/ live-action mixed media series that encourages creative movement and bright imagination from Atomic Cartoons in association with Knowledge Network, Telus and BBC Kids. For kids 6-12, D360 brings marblemedia’s adrenaline-driven live-action gameshow Ride or Wrong (43x3’) to the market.

“We immediately fell in love with these characters and are really pleased to be able to bring such quality animated preschool properties to this edition of MIPJunior. We think buyers - and children - around the world will fall for them too,” said Diane Rankin, Senior Vice President, International Sales and Acquisitions, Distribution360.

Additionally, D360 has secured sales of 80 hours from its growing catalogue of Kids and Family content. Two of marblemedia’s acclaimed live-action properties, Splatalot (52x30) and Japanizi: Going, Going, Gong! (40x30’), have extended their presence internationally with a sale to TV Prima (Malaysia), with Season 1 of Splatalot also selling to Gulli (France), Czech TV (Czech Republic) and TV Film (Latin America).

The imaginative Victory Arts produced preschool series, Alphabet Stories (26x1.30’) and YOUniverse (26x2.15’), have both been picked up by EBS (South Korea), while deals for the latter series have also been secured with JimJam (Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa) and Hop! (Israel).

YAYA & ZOUK (78x5’)
From the creator of Toopy and Binoo comes a new series of whimsical adventures featuring brother-sister duo YaYa and Zouk. Each episode features, YaYa, the big sister with a taste for mischief, and her quirky little brother Zouk, as they get themselves into hilarious situations as they travel between real and imaginary worlds; influenced by real life places and people.

NICO CAN DANCE (65x2’)
Nico Can Dance invites children to jump up and join Miss Frost and Nico as they use their imaginations to create fantastical worlds through creative movement. Each two-minute animated/live-action mixed media episode sees the characters discover amazing things that inspire them to move.

RIDE OR WRONG (43x3’)
In each episode of this adrenaline-filled series, one teen contestant must answer trivia questions while twisting and turning at extreme speeds on the tallest and fastest rides the amusement park has to offer. Contestants must rely not only on their intelligence, but their ability to focus under extreme conditions.
