DISTRIBUTION360 ADDS BENCH STRENGTH WITH NEW HIRE AND ANNOUNCES SALES ACROSS ALL GENRES INCLUDING A FORMAT OPTION ON INTERNATIONAL EMMY® NOMINATED SERIES.

TORONTO, CANADA (November 8, 2017) - Distribution360 is pleased to announce that Jodi Mackie has joined the team as Director of Sales & Acquisitions on the back of sales growth across its kids, family and unscripted portfolio.


Coming to D360 after 10 years with Breakthrough Entertainment, Jodi Mackie joins D360 to drive revenue growth across the catalogue through content sales and a focus on attracting new titles for distribution and developing production and content creation relationships. Building on the company’s core strengths in kids, family and unscripted, Jodi brings extensive experience across a wide variety of genres and territories to the team and her strategic approach to distribution will be instrumental to D360’s next phase of growth. Jodi will make her D360 market debut at Asia TV Forum and will handle sales into Asia, Middle East, Africa and Scandinavia.

D360 also announces new sales across the catalogue including a pre-sale of WW2 Treasure Hunters from Emporium Productions (8 x 60’) to Foxtel, a deal that sees marblemedia-produced series Splatalot (52 x 30’) going to BYUtv in the US, and an option on the kids format Snapshots (6 x 30’) that was recently nominated for an International Kids Emmy®; Three Arrows Media will develop the Forte Entertainment series for localised pitches to the UK market. 


Deals on other kids and family titles include George & Paul (26 x 5’) to YLE in Finland and to Hop! In Israel, renewals of Spellz (52 x 12’), MathXplosion (50 x 3’), Alphabet Stories (26 x 2.15’) with Epic! Creations in the US, with Spellzalso selling to Da Vinci Media in Sri Lanka and MathXplosion being sold to Kids Talk Talk in South Korea and Canal+ in Myanmar, the latter two in partnership with Bomanbridge. Inflight sales of Family Travel (34 x 30’) and Made Up (13 x 30’) were also completed to Malaysian Airlines and further eps of This is Scarlett and Isaiah (13 x 30’) episodes to Korean Airlines.


From the unscripted catalogue - Edge of War (6 x 60’) and Escape from Iran (1 x 60’) have been sold to AB Thematiques with Planete+ taking Red Arrows - Inside the Bubble (1 x 60’), for France, French speaking Europe & Africa and Confucius was a Foodie series 1 & 2 (13 x 60’) has been sold to Kuchnia Canal+ in Poland. All seasons of Crime Stories(76 x 60’) have been renewed with Luk Internacional in Spain and Portugal, Leave it to Bryan season 6 (13 x 30’) has been papered with One Africa and a VOD deal has been agreed for Innovation Nation (6 x 30’) and Countdown to the Future (6 x 30’) with Digital Media Rights in the US.
